SUSPENSION LIGHTING

LIFT is an exploration of form through the opportunities of LEDs. With the use of laminated teak veneer, aluminum, brass, LIFT carries minimal physical presence while providing a luminous band of light.  The use of warm wood tones with black and brass accents are inspired by scandinavian materiality while the silhouette of the cantilever seeks to emphasize the lightweight and assymmetric form.

The adjustable position of the brass  counterbalance creates an opportunity for angle adjustment, further reminding the user of its lightweight state of suspension.
