POP-UP INSTALLATION

JUNG is an exploration of light and its influence on our sense of space.  By using the semi-transparent properties of fabric scrim, the effect of a one way light-screen was created through differential light levels between the interior and exterior space.  

The scrim material offered soft characteristics that lead to the creation of a gentle and flowing form with minimal structure needed to create a large volume while also dimming the visual presence beyond the volume, enabling the visitor to focus on the space and people within. 

The soft forms, gentle tensions, and semitransparent materiality of JUNG inspired future explorations of how light and space affect our sense of calm and focus within our environments.
